What can a 13-year-old realistically build?
A working chatbot, a small image classifier trained on their own photos, and a written fairness analysis of a real AI product. These are portfolio-grade outputs — not toys.
How is this different from Scratch or block coding?
Block coding is great up to age 12. At 13, students transition to real Python for AI — but inside a guided notebook so syntax mistakes don't block learning.
Will my child be ready for high school AI after this?
Yes. The Grade 7–8 path is calibrated so that students finishing it can comfortably take Grade 9 AI electives, CBSE AI 417, IBDP CS, or AP CS Principles.
Does this prepare for science fairs and competitions?
Yes. The final unit is intentionally portfolio-shaped — a written, presentable AI fairness analysis that has been used by students at school exhibitions and national-level competitions.
What if my child is new to AI at 13?
No prior AI background is needed. We start with a 2-unit catch-up that covers the age-12 essentials, then move into the build-heavy core of the Grade 7–8 path.
