A Parent's Guide to Your Child's Privacy

We built LittleAIMaster for children, so we start from the strictest rule: under Indian law every user under 18 is a child, and we treat them that way everywhere in the world. This page summarises our Privacy Policy in plain language; the full policy governs.

What we collect about your child

Who can see it

You. The parent area shows everything: progress, every Byte conversation, safety flags, and controls.
Your child's school, if the account is under a school licence: their teachers and school administrators see learning progress.
Our small team, only when a support request or a safety flag requires it, under a signed undertaking. They see flagged excerpts, never full conversations.
The companies that run our service, listed on our Sub-processors page: cloud hosting in India, the AI model providers (which receive the message text without your child's name and may not train on it), and payment providers (which never share card details with us).

How AI is kept safe

Every message to Byte or an AI tool passes through layered checks before and after the model answers. Unsafe requests are refused with a kind message. If a child shows signs of distress, the app shows a real, local helpline, our safety contact is alerted, and, where you are linked, you receive a notification asking you to open the dashboard. Nothing sensitive is put in the notification itself. Byte is not a counsellor and every safety reply says so. Our full Child Safety Protocol is published at littleaimaster.com/safety.

What you control

Link to your child's account and switch into it.
A Parent PIN that locks settings, purchases, appearance and deletion.
Daily screen-time limit and a bedtime hour.
Approve friend requests. Block and report other users.
Turn voice mode on or off.
Export your child's data as a file, any time.
Delete the account. Deletion is immediate, complete and cannot be undone.

How long we keep things

Byte conversations and safety records are deleted automatically after 90 days. Everything else is kept while the account is open and deleted within 30 days of deleting the account, unless the law requires us to keep a specific record. Encrypted backups rotate within 90 days.

Where the data lives

Our servers and database are in India (Google Cloud, Mumbai). Some providers, such as the AI model providers and payment partners, are in the United States; our contracts with them require the same protections.
