AI Learning Aligned with the UAE MoE Mandate — Dubai
On 4 May 2025, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced that AI would become a mandatory subject in every UAE government school from KG to Grade 12, starting the 2025–26 academic year. LittleAIMaster is the structured, project-based AI curriculum families and KHDA-registered schools across Dubai use to meet the spirit of that mandate — at home and in the classroom.

On 4 May 2025, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced that AI would be introduced as a mandatory subject in every UAE government school from Kindergarten to Grade 12, starting the 2025–26 academic year. It is the first national K-12 AI mandate in the world.

A locally-tuned, MoE-aligned AI elective designed for the emirate your family actually lives in.
The Grade 6–12 path covers each of the MoE's seven core curriculum areas — foundational concepts, data and algorithms, software applications, ethical awareness, real-world applications, innovation and project design, and policy. KG–Grade 5 content is built around the same seven pillars at age-appropriate depth.
KHDA-regulated private schools (GEMS, Taaleem, Esol, Repton, Dubai British, JESS, Cambridge International) use the platform as supplementary AI literacy material that maps cleanly to Inspection Framework expectations on technology and innovation.
Self-paced 20–30 minute lessons that fit between school, swimming, ECAs, and weekend travel. Offline mode covers Metro commutes and patchy connectivity in newer districts like Town Square and Dubai South.
Every lesson is available in EN and AR, matching the bilingual reality of Dubai households. Hreflang and full RTL support are built in — not a translation afterthought.
Every grade band on the platform maps to the seven core curriculum themes confirmed by the UAE Ministry of Education for the KG–Grade 12 AI subject.
What AI is, what it isn't, and how it relates to computing and data. Age-graded from KG sensory stories to Grade 12 model architectures.
How data is collected, labelled, and turned into predictions. Students learn the moving parts of an algorithm before they meet code.
Real AI tools — voice assistants, image generators, language models — explored with safe, sandboxed access at each grade level.
Bias, fairness, privacy, plagiarism, and the responsible use of AI. A core theme in every grade, not an optional add-on.
How AI shows up in healthcare, transport, energy, retail, government services — including UAE-specific case studies.
Students design and build their own AI systems. Project-based, portfolio-grade work, sequenced from Grade 1 onward.
How nations and communities regulate AI. Connects to the UAE National AI Strategy 2031 and the Ministry of AI portfolio.
We don't just claim alignment. Each emirate has its own regulator and we publish how we map to each.
Regulates Dubai's private schools. Inspection Framework emphasises technology and innovation — areas our curriculum reinforces.
Public schools follow the federal MoE curriculum, where AI is now a mandatory KG–12 subject from 2025–26.
Sets the broader AI talent agenda — our project-based outputs are sized for DFF student innovation submissions.
Our curriculum threads the Strategy's pillars (talent, infrastructure, ethics, R&D) into project briefs and reflections.
