UAE Cabinet AI Mandate · KG–Grade 12 · 2025–26

AI Education for the United Arab Emirates

The bilingual, MoE-aligned AI curriculum used by Emirati and expatriate families across all seven emirates — built around the UAE Cabinet's first-in-the-world KG–Grade 12 AI mandate.

The UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) made AI a mandatory school subject from Kindergarten to Grade 12, announced 4 May 2025 and rolling out in 2025–26 across seven core curriculum areas. LittleAIMaster is a bilingual (English + Arabic) AI curriculum mapped to all seven MoE areas — AED 519/year, first 3 chapters free.

World's first national K–12 AI mandate

What is the UAE MoE AI mandate?

On 4 May 2025, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced that Artificial Intelligence would be introduced as a mandatory subject in every UAE government school, from Kindergarten through Grade 12, starting the 2025–26 academic year.

The UAE is the first country in the world to mandate a national K–12 AI curriculum. The Ministry of Education has confirmed the curriculum will cover seven core areas — from foundational AI concepts through to AI ethics, real-world applications, and policy — taught under the Computing, Creative Design and Innovation subject.

LittleAIMaster — built from Abu Dhabi by an independent founder — is the bilingual, MoE-aligned AI platform families and schools across the seven emirates use to meet the mandate at home and as a supplementary path in the classroom.

What are the 7 MoE AI curriculum areas?

Every grade band on LittleAIMaster maps to the seven core curriculum themes the UAE Ministry of Education has confirmed for the KG–Grade 12 AI subject.

1

Foundational AI concepts

What AI is, what it isn't, and how it relates to computing and data. Age-graded from KG sensory stories to Grade 12 model architectures.

2

Data and algorithms

How data is collected, labelled, and turned into predictions. Students learn the moving parts of an algorithm before they meet code.

3

Software applications

Real AI tools — voice assistants, image generators, language models — explored with safe, sandboxed access at each grade level.

4

Ethical awareness

Bias, fairness, privacy, plagiarism, and the responsible use of AI. A core theme in every grade, not an optional add-on.

5

Real-world applications

How AI shows up in healthcare, transport, energy, retail, government services — including UAE-specific case studies.

6

Innovation and project design

Students design and build their own AI systems. Project-based, portfolio-grade work, sequenced from Grade 1 onward.

7

Policies and community engagement

How nations and communities regulate AI. Connects to the UAE National AI Strategy 2031 and the Ministry of AI portfolio.

UAE AI Education: Frequently Asked Questions

What is the UAE AI mandate, in short?
On 4 May 2025, the UAE Cabinet approved making AI a mandatory subject in every UAE government school from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Rollout began with the 2025–26 academic year. The UAE is the first country in the world to mandate a national KG–12 AI curriculum.
Does LittleAIMaster cover the MoE curriculum?
Yes. Every grade band on the platform maps to the MoE's seven core curriculum areas: foundational AI concepts, data and algorithms, software applications, ethical awareness, real-world applications, innovation and project design, and policies and community engagement.
Which emirates does the platform serve?
All seven — Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. Every emirate has its own page with regulator-specific guidance (ADEK, KHDA, SPEA, MoE) and bilingual EN+AR content.
Is the platform suitable for ADEK / KHDA / SPEA private schools?
Yes. The federal MoE AI mandate is for government schools, but private schools regulated by ADEK, KHDA, and SPEA increasingly adopt the same content as supplementary AI literacy material. LittleAIMaster maps to the federal curriculum and is being used by schools under all three regulators.
Is Arabic content available?
Yes — first class. Every page and every lesson is available in Modern Standard Arabic with full RTL layout. The Arabic experience is a primary build, not a translation patch.
What does AED 519 per year cover?
The full KG–Grade 12 AI Scientist subscription in English, Arabic, and Hindi — 540+ chapters, all 16 AI creation tools, the Byte AI tutor, verifiable certificates, rich parent reports, year-round updates, and offline mode on annual + 6-month plans. One subscription covers the household (multiple linked kids). School-tier per-seat pricing is available via the For Schools page.
