What is the UAE AI mandate?

On 4 May 2025, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced that AI would be introduced as a mandatory subject in every UAE government school from Kindergarten to Grade 12, starting the 2025–26 academic year. It is the first national K-12 AI mandate in the world.

Why families across Sharjah

A locally-tuned, MoE-aligned AI elective designed for the emirate your family actually lives in.

Aligned with the federal MoE AI mandate

Like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Sharjah government schools follow the federal MoE curriculum. LittleAIMaster's grade bands map directly to the MoE's seven core curriculum areas, ready to use from day one.

Strong Arabic-first experience for Khaleeji families

Sharjah is the Arabic and cultural capital of the UAE. The platform's Arabic experience is a first-class build — Modern Standard Arabic, full RTL, dedicated Arabic learning paths.

Friendly to SPEA-regulated private schools

SPEA-regulated private schools across Sharjah — British, American, Indian-curriculum, and bilingual — can use the platform as supplementary AI literacy material aligned with the federal mandate.

Designed for Sharjah-Dubai commuter families

Lessons are downloadable so the morning Sharjah-to-Dubai commute is study time. Self-paced format avoids fixed-time conflicts with traffic-shaped schedules.

What are the 7 MoE AI curriculum areas?

Every grade band on the platform maps to the seven core curriculum themes confirmed by the UAE Ministry of Education for the KG–Grade 12 AI subject.

1

Foundational AI concepts

What AI is, what it isn't, and how it relates to computing and data. Age-graded from KG sensory stories to Grade 12 model architectures.

2

Data and algorithms

How data is collected, labelled, and turned into predictions. Students learn the moving parts of an algorithm before they meet code.

3

Software applications

Real AI tools — voice assistants, image generators, language models — explored with safe, sandboxed access at each grade level.

4

Ethical awareness

Bias, fairness, privacy, plagiarism, and the responsible use of AI. A core theme in every grade, not an optional add-on.

5

Real-world applications

How AI shows up in healthcare, transport, energy, retail, government services — including UAE-specific case studies.

6

Innovation and project design

Students design and build their own AI systems. Project-based, portfolio-grade work, sequenced from Grade 1 onward.

7

Policies and community engagement

How nations and communities regulate AI. Connects to the UAE National AI Strategy 2031 and the Ministry of AI portfolio.

Sharjah: Frequently Asked Questions

Is this platform suited to Khaleeji Arabic-speaking families?
Yes. The Arabic experience is a first-class build, not a translation. Modern Standard Arabic with full RTL layout is used across every lesson and every page.
Does it work for SPEA-regulated schools?
Yes. SPEA-regulated schools use LittleAIMaster as supplementary AI literacy material aligned with the federal MoE mandate. School-tier pricing is available.
Will my Sharjah child miss in-school AI lessons by using this at home?
No. They'll be ahead. Sharjah teachers are being trained on the MoE curriculum in parallel with rollout, so students with prior project experience start with strong vocabulary and confidence.
How is this affordable for Sharjah families?
The family plan is AED 519 per year — usually less than one term of a single private-tuition subject. No per-child fees in a family unit; bilingual content included.
Does it support Emirati identity content?
Yes. Heritage, Year of Sustainability, and UAE Vision themes are woven into project briefs at Grade 7+ — visible, not bolted on.
Can my child use this alongside Quranic studies?
Yes. The 20–30 minute lessons easily fit alongside Quranic and Arabic studies routines, which many Sharjah families prioritise. Lessons are self-paced — your schedule, not ours.
