What this module covers
Be AI Smart is the ethics and safety module, and it comes early on purpose. Students learn that AI makes mistakes, that it can be unfair when its training data is unfair, and what happens to their data when they use AI products.
Later chapters cover deepfakes and how to tell real from fake, AI and jobs, AI and the environment, and when to trust an AI answer. The module closes with students writing their own AI ethics framework, the set of rules they will apply in every later module.
