What this module covers

Most students already use AI dozens of times a day without naming it. This module goes room by room and app by app: AI in the home and the phone, AI that plays games, the recommendations on Netflix, YouTube and Spotify, navigation, online shopping, healthcare and schools.

Each chapter asks the same two questions: what is the AI doing here, and what data does it need to do it? The module ends by explaining voice assistants, which combine speech recognition, language understanding and speech generation in one product.
