What this module covers

AI in the Real World is a tour of industries. Each chapter takes one sector, from healthcare, finance and retail to agriculture, manufacturing, education, transportation and entertainment, and looks at the problems AI is used to solve there.

The point is transfer: students learn to recognise the same few patterns (prediction, classification, recommendation, detection) across very different jobs. The module ends with AI startups and what working in AI actually involves.
